Way better at torture and fucking mind control. On top of the fact the other 2 unforgivable curses are way better than the military equivalents. Yeah, it'd probably fuck up a wizard, but they can also wear plate carriers like you are and could potentially survive getting shot, but you will not survive getting hit with the killing curse. >oh but what about this super cool machine gun? And they have a spell that can instantly kill you. Magic has transportation, teleportation, polyjuice potion, can sniff out muggles and muggle inventions like land mines and shit, they can fly. You give me an action and there's a magic spell that works better than military might. Everything they can do, muggle military can do better. In an open fight, wizards stand no chance.
Except I can put up a shield charm and you can't touch me, on top of the fact people survive bullets all the time.
